I have a few minutes on my hands this morning so thought I’d highlight some of the best deal around this week. I don’t endorse one company over another – I just like the nearly free “loss leaders” advertised by the big box stores here in Stamford. Target – in the news lately with a new gleaming [...] Stop and Shop continues with its 10 for $10 sale; stock up on Celeste Pizzas, One Dozen Large eggs, Ronzoni Pasta boxes and Chef Boyardee. Grade A/Shop Rite is running a FREE TURKEY promotion; spend $300 from October 18-November 26 and get a turkey (up to 21 lbs) or 4lb Kosher Roasting Chicken or 12 lb. [...] Here we go again with my weekly circular “round” up (redundant much?). Sunday newspaper advertising inserts generally scare me. There, I’ve said it. There are too many pictures, too many numbers, too much going on for me to focus in on what’s really an ideal deal. Every week, it’s like the paper version of those NYC “Going Out Of Business” shops that are perpetually going out of business. [...] |
