I know I’m not the only one out there obsessed with all things Food Network, which makes this Avon screening so relevant these days. And speaking as someone who has audited a pastry class at the Cordon Bleu in Paris, I know how earnestly and seriously chefs take mixing, baking and sculpting edible masterpieces.

ET is one of my favorite movies of all time. It’s really the only movie that time after time, still makes me cry – with joy and relief – when (spoiler alert) the “dead” little Extra Terrestrial, well, I’ll let you find out for yourself.
